ADMISSIONS - Reserved Quota

Scheduled Caste and Tribe candidates: 15% seats for Scheduled Caste,
7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribe and 27% seats for OBC candidates shall be reserved in each
subject in a particular course of study as per rules.
No relaxation shall be allowed for SC/ST/OBC candidates in case of direct admission.

Other categories of candidates: The following reserved seats shall be
filled up in the Bhavana subject to the candidates' fulfillment of the
admission criteria (including those for admission test) and submission of
valid documents from appropriate competent authority as mentioned in (2) below.
In case of more than one candidate claiming such seats, the candidate shall be
selected in order of merit from the merit list of the admission test.
All these reserved, seats shall be supernumerary.

Sports persons: One student representing Inter State/National/Inter
University level game shall be admitted in the Bhavana subject to
the above condition.

Wards of Defence personnel: One student being the natural ward of
defence personnel serving presently may be admitted in each course of the
Bhavana (one in B.Sc. and one in M.Sc.) subject to the above condition.

Physically Handicapped: 3% of seats shall be reserved for the
Physically Handicapped candidates in each subject in a particular course of
study subject to the fulfillment of departmental criteria.
