60% marks in aggregate with 60% marks in General English at 10+2 level

Sanskrit
45% marks in the aggregate with 45% marks in Sanskrit at 10+2 level or 45% marks
in aggregate at 10+2 level with Diploma in Sanskrit having 45% marks

Hindi
45% marks in the aggregate with 45% marks in Hindi at 10+2 level which
should be a full paper of 100 marks.

Oriya
45% marks in the aggregate and at least 45% marks in Oriya optional (elective)
or MIL (Oriya) at 10+2 level final examination

Philosophy
50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in Logic/ Philosophy / Psychology
at 10+2 level

Comparative Religion
45% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level in Humanities stream

Economics
55% marks in aggregate with pass marks in Mathematics at 10+2 level. Candidates
who will be selected for admission to BA (Hons) in Economics must opt
for Mathematics as subsidiary subject otherwise the admission is liable
to be cancelled.

History
50% marks in the aggregate with 50% marks in History at 10+2 level

A.I.H.C. & A.
45% marks in the aggregate for candidates who had AIWH as one
of the elective subjects at 10+2 level

50% marks in aggregate for candidates who has History as an elective subject
and/or Ancient Indian & World History/ History as the fourth
subject at 10+2 level

55% marks in aggregate for candidates who did not have either AIWH
or History as a subject at 10+2 level

Geography
60% marks in the aggregate and 60% marks In Geography with a combination of
and pass marks obtained in Mathematics/ Economics/ Statistics at 10+2 level or

Students from Science stream must have Geography in their 10+2 level as major
subject having 65% marks and 60% marks in aggregate with pass
marks in mathematics/Statistics

Mathematics
At least 60% marks in the aggregate and 60% marks in Mathematics at 10+2 level.

H.S. may be admitted to 1 year preparatory course in Tibetan

Chinese
45% marks in the aggregate with 45% marks in English at 10+2 level

Japanese for Preparatory Course
Candidates should have 50% marks in aggregate with 45% marks in General
English at 10+2 level
