Two scholars have already been awarded Ph.D under my supervision and three scholars are working at present.

| Contribution to social Development |
Apart from teaching, I have been associated with Amar Kutir Society for Rural Development - a non-profit making voluntary organization
promoting small enterprises and entrepreneurs in the area surrounding of Visva-Bharati in line with Tagore’s ideals on Rural
Re-construction. The society directly employ about 100 workers and assist more than 1000 craftsperson to get design input,
training and marketing facilities in the local, national and international market. The major thrust of the society is to promote
employment, upkeep health and protect environment with its own income. I am discharging my duties as Honorary Secretary of
Amar Kutir Society for Rural Development, P.O.-Sriniketan, Birbhum, a Social Entrepreneurship on small-scale industry for the
promotion of rural entrepreneurs of the district of Birbhum, West Bengal, India.
