PALLI-CHARCHA
KENDRA A teaching department founded in 1977 is under the Institute of Palli Samgathana Vibhaga. It offers two courses at P.G. level : one in Anthropology and other, in Rural Development. The courses have curriculum of compulsory field-work in villages as well as placement in development institutes or organisations. It conducts research on various aspects of life of the rural people and also has a Ph.D. programme. Department
of Social Work A teaching department established in 1963 operates under the Institute of Rural Reconstruction. Its aim is to create professional social workers and offers two courses, one at the under-graduate and the other, at the post-graduate level. The courses involve compulsory field-work in villages as well as placement in industrial concern. |
